Flamengo’s 1994 season was a mixed one — full of attacking talent but lacking the consistency needed for major trophies.

Under coach Edinho, the team featured a young and electrifying Romário, fresh off winning the World Cup with Brazil, alongside rising stars Sávio and Marcelinho Carioca. Flamengo’s attack was among Brazil’s most entertaining, but defensive issues and instability undermined their campaigns.

In the Campeonato Brasileiro, Flamengo finished 16th, far below expectations, though they performed better in the Campeonato Carioca, finishing as runners-up to Vasco da Gama.

While 1994 didn’t bring silverware, it marked a transitional phase — bridging the early-1990s decline and the star-studded centenary “Dream Team” assembled the following year.

A return address will be given at this stage and postage will be paid for by us dependent on adherence with refund & return policy.
