Boca Juniors’ 2003/04 season was another outstanding chapter in their golden era under Carlos Bianchi, marked by both domestic success and international glory.

In 2003, Boca won the Copa Libertadores, defeating Santos 5–1 on aggregate in the final, led by a brilliant Carlos Tevez, who was named South American Footballer of the Year. Later that year, Boca captured the Intercontinental Cup in Tokyo, beating AC Milan on penalties after a 1–1 draw — their third world title.

Domestically, Boca finished 2nd in the Apertura 2003 and 3rd in the Clausura 2004, showing consistency despite a packed schedule.

The 2003/04 season cemented Boca’s status as the era’s dominant South American club, blending youth, experience, and Bianchi’s winning mentality.
