Boca Juniors’ 1993–95 period was a turbulent stretch marked by high expectations, managerial turnover, and inconsistency, as the club sought to regain its dominance in Argentine football.

In 1993/94, under César Luis Menotti, Boca played attacking football but lacked defensive balance, finishing 3rd in the Apertura and 9th in the Clausura. The era saw the emergence of Néstor Fabbri, Carlos Mac Allister, and a young Juan Sebastián Verón, alongside veterans like Alberto Márcico.

In 1994/95, under Silvio Marzolini, Boca again showed promise but fell short of silverware, finishing 4th in the Apertura and 6th in the Clausura. Despite talented squads, inconsistency and off-field instability kept Boca from matching rivals River Plate’s success during this period.
